Culture shock could be had for every person who likes to travel, or moved to another place. Mia was person who ever felt about displacement from Bandung to Bekasi. This paper will write about Mia's experience of the move to new place.
All of the people ever had many experiences about the cultures from the places those visited by them. Mia was one of many people that would be found about differences culture. She was born in Bandung, and she stayed in Bandung until she was in second grade at junior high school. She moved to Bekasi, for she followed her parents because her parents should work in Bekasi. In Bekasi, ahe has several cultures. Thus, the fact about the weather in Bekasi is not because Bekasi is semi-metropolitan city like Jakarta with the result that Mia has culture shock about the weather.
The next culture shock in Mia's feels are about the food. In Bekasi, she can find soup with Gabus Pucung fish with many soy sauce that make the soup looks dark and sweety. Actually, she does not like that food because it looks weird with black color. Furthermore, the several cultures in Bekasi like ondel-ondel makes her afraid and she does not want to emanate from her home because the attraction of ondel-ondel extremely mercurial, so she scare to face them.
In summary, culture shock was given by differences about the weather from Bandung to Bekasi that makes Mia should adapted and tried to accept that differences exist.
